Director
EERC seeks to fill the position of Director of the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE). The Director also serves as the President of EERC, Inc., a U.S. not-for-profit corporation that administers the KSE and its Research Network. The Director will provide leadership for KSE’s 2-year MA programs in Economic Analysis and Financial Economics; and for its Research Network.
The successful candidate must possess outstanding leadership skills and the management and creative talents required to lead the Kyiv School of Economics through the 21st Century. In addition to having a PHD, MBA or other terminal degree, the successful candidate must be fluent in English and Ukrainian or Russian. Prior experience in administering academic and/or research programs, and in fundraising, is preferred. A record of excellence in teaching, research, policy advice and/or publication in economics, policy or business is highly desirable.

Lawyer
EERC seeks to fill the position of Lawyer of the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE). Candidate’s responsibilities will consist of 3 main areas: program development, financial oversight and procurement, and human resources management.
1) Program Development
• Manage EERC as a legal entity in Ukraine including registration and accreditation process, programmatic and organizational issues;
• Manage the legal framework of EERC’s presence in Ukraine.
• Assist the program director in developing a student loan scheme with a bank
• Support the KSE Charitable Organization, possible including being the official director of the foundation.
• Coordinate, with the academic department, the academic accreditation process
• Continuously review and keep up to date the status of administrative documents and contracts.
• Maintain EERC P&Ps up to date and provide information about P&P to staff;
• Manage all items connected with corporative insurance
2) Financial Oversight and Procurement
• Review and sign all purchase and reimbursement requests and payments both local and paid through the DC account;
• Review and sign all salary payments for local staff, consultants, visiting faculty, student stipends
3) Human Resources Management
• Review valid contracts and maintain personnel files for EERC staff, consultants, local and foreign faculty, researchers
