Tom Coupé - KSE director, PHD, Free University of Brussels (Belgium), 2002
Prof Coupé teaches statistics and econometrics, and research methods at the Kyiv School of Economics and can discuss general micro and macro-economic issues, especially when related to specific economic data. He has written open-ed pieces and columns for Investgazeta, Economicheskie Izvestia, Strategies and Kontrakty on a diverse set of topics including the economic crisis, visa-regulations, road safety, evidence based policy making and higher education in Ukraine. Borys Dodonov – KSE assistant professor, PHD, University of Houston (USA), 2009
Prof Dodonov teaches financial econometrics and issues in banking and finance at the Kyiv School of Economics and can comment on issues related to major macroeconomic trends of the Ukrainian economy, institutions and financial development. He has written open-ed for Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty. His research interests include macroeconomics, financial economics, international finance, applied econometrics.

Denys Nizalov – KSE assistant professor, PHD, Michigan State University (USA), 2006
Prof Nizalov teaches economic policy, information economics, and statistics and econometric at the Kyiv School of Economics and can discuss issues related to regional and local economic development, poverty and social assistance programs and techniques to evaluate projects and policies. He has edited a toolkit on municipal economic development (http://www.municipaltoolkit.org/en/about/) and does consulting work for the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy and USAID’s Local Economic Development project. His research interests include regional economic development, development policies, rural poverty, labor market transaction costs, economies in transition, spatial aggregation.

Olena Nizalova – KSE assistant professor, PHD, Michigan State University (USA), 2005
Prof Nizalova teaches microeconomics and labor economics at the Kyiv School of Economics and can discuss issues related to labor, health or demographics, free economic zones, social assistance programs and techniques to evaluate projects and policies. She has evaluated the impact of programs that aim to improve maternal and infant health in Ukraine (Mother and Infant Health Project), the social assistance system modernization (Social Assistance System Modernization Project at the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy), and the impact of free economic zones. Her research interests include labor economics, economics of aging, demography, development economics, applied econometrics, health economics.

Pavlo Prokopovych – KSE assistant professor, PHD, University of Michigan (USA), 2005
Prof Prokopovych teaches microeconomics and game theory at the Kyiv School of Economics and can discuss issues related to the general macroeconomic situation in Ukraine (including the real estate market). Mykhaylo Salnykov – PhD, Simon Fraser University (Canada), 2008
Dr. Salnykov teaches microeconomics, environmental and natural resources economics and energy economics. Prior to joining KSE/KEI he was an economist for the Sokrat investment bank. Mykhaylo can comment on issues related to macroeconomic situation, investments and energy sector as well as the issues on sustainable development and economic approach to the environment. His research interests include applied microeconomics, applied econometrics, environmental and natural resources economics (esp. climate change, fossil fuels and renewable energy sources) as well as energy security.

Valentin Zelenyuk - KSE assistant professor, PHD, Oregon State University (US), 2002
Prof. Zelenyuk teaches advanced econometrics and productivity and efficiency analysis at the Kyiv School of Economics and can discuss general micro and macro-economic issues, with a focus on investments and the banking sector. He has written open-ed pieces for Ukrainska Pravda, Ukrainian Observer, Kyiv Post and Delo on a diverse set of topics including the economic crisis, the banking sector and investing in Ukraine. He has worked for Millennium Capital as Chief Economist and Chief Strategist in 2007-2008. Since 2009, Valentin also is the CEO of the Advisors, LLC, a consulting group focusing on performance analysis and strategy development for productivity and profitability improvements. His research interests include productivity and efficiency analysis, economic growth, econometrics and money and banking.
